WWII ENDS
After the Third Reich Collapses, there was the Battle of the Bulge. Then the war finally ended in the European Theater, but not in the Pacific Theater. America had to invade Japan to get the point across. There was the Battle of Iwo Jima, Invasion of Okinawa, and of course the atomic bomb. Truman thought that the only way to stop the Japanese was to bomb them. Killing thousands and badly injuring many others, the Americans decided to drop the atomic bomb on two of their cities. That made Japan surrender on what is now called V-J day. The war was now over.
